the next whatever

I just finished reading a beautifully written and compelling essay on rumpus.net called "I Want You To Want Me."  It's one of the most moving things I've read in a really long time.  I don't want to spoil it for you, so go read it and come back here later for my commentary.  I want to let it sit, anyway.
